Neck, Shoulders, Back
This massage get's right to a common area of pain, tension and discomfort: the neck, shoulders and back. We will assess what is causing your pain, and then employ a variety of techniques to provide direct relief.
Modalities such as Myofascial, Structural Integration, Craniosacral, Deep Tissue and Thai Yoga Massage are likely to be blended into this session to promote well-rounded deep relaxation and pain relief.
If you are interested, we will also chat with you after the massage about postural or holding habits that me be contributing to your pain, and stretches that can help. Often times, a little awareness about your holding patterns (the ways you habitually clench your jaw or raise your shoulders, for example) can help you create new habits and feel more at ease in your body.
